Patients approved by their doctor for repeat prescriptions have a number of options to choose from when re-ordering medication:

Please note from the 5th June 2017, we will be using a new online repeat prescription ordering system (patient access) which you will have to register for please see the online services tab on this website or click here for more information. 

Make sure you register in time before the 5th June 2017 for your new lot of repeat medications to be ordered via the new system.

Online Services from Patient Access

On the Telephone - via Pool Health Centre Prescription Service (in partnership with Pharmacy 2U) - pick up a registration form in the practice to register specifically for this service.  Please note this is entirely a telephone service, with text reminders available for patients and a specific hot line telephone number through which patients can confirm their order.  Medication can be delivered direct to your door without the need to come to the surgery or a pharmacy.  This option will not appear via the online ordering link below nor can requests be made via the surgery's usual telephone number. 

In Person - drop your repeat slip in at reception with the required items clearly marked.

By Post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.

In the majority of cases we can now send your prescription electronically to your chosen pharmacy.  Please let us know if you do not wish us to do this. 

Down to your last week's supply of medication? - order it now to give us and your chosen pharmacy plenty of time to get it ready for you.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

48_hoursPlease allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed by us (pharmacies will need a further 2 working days to dispense your medication) and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
