Colds and flu are caused by viruses. These viruses work by getting into your body, attacking your cells and using them to build more identical copies of themselves. This causes the familiar miserable symptoms of colds and flu, such as a runny nose, sneezing, a sore throat and a high temperature.

The Surgery operates an automated telephone system. We introduced this because too much time was being taken up transferring calls within the surgery causing lines to be blocked and occasionally making it difficult for patients to get through at busy times.

Routine Appointments
Our appointments system enables patients to be seen by a GP within 48 hours or a primary care professional within 24 hours (excluding weekends) if they so wish.
