This website asks people about any difficulties that they have with daily living, and then advises on pieces of equipment that may be useful and where to find them.
It leads to a list of suppliers (all accredited through British trade association) that supply the product and their prices.
It is constantly being up-dated and they are in the process of adapting the site so that it has specific information for where you live - i.e. Cornwall
